I will probably use spark notes or cliff notes the most because they have the play modern English and I understand it better that way.  Cliff notes and sparks notes both explain the story a way you can understand better. Also on these two cites they have practice quizzes and test which you can go on and practice. They have a summary on each Act. The book Othello is wrote how they talked back then.  The other sites I probably want use as much.

Othello Theme 5

I choose these pictures because they all relate to jealously. The first picture is about how this little boy kisses another girl while a girl that likes him is seating there.  The guy in the corner is upset because the girl he likes is dancing with another guy. The next picture is about a girl being upset because the guy in the background has all the money and she wants to have that money. The girl in the back is upset because she wants to be with the guy who giving the other girl a toast. The last picture is because the mother is babying the other son and he wants to seat on her lap.

  To Sidney
Sidney post is really good. His picture really shows betrayal. He has really nice pictures and you can tell by just looking at them what the theme is.

American Dream

1. Those who want the wealthy to pay a greater share of the nation's taxes or those who want to cut entitlements such as Social Security and Medicare.
It is just safe enough to start a conversation with a stranger, it is universal enough so anyone can answer, and it strikes right to the core of what our culture values most -- money. They are different because the first one talks about equality. The second one talks about how they feel that the American Dream is money. I agree with the second one because i believe in that everybody should be able to have there own dream. The second one was right about what he said because this is a free country and you are able to have whatever type of dream u choose to have.

Elizabethan Era 6

Various sports were played and watched and formed much of Elizabethan Entertainment, especially for the Nobility. Elizabethan games and sports were archery, bowling, dice, hammer-throwning, quarter-staff contests, quoits, skittles and wrestling. Elizabethan Animal Blood Sports included Bear and Bull baiting. Dog and Cock fighting. Elizabethan Hunting was used by dogs and Hawking was used by hawks.

Elizabethan animal blood sports were Bear and Bull baiting, and Dog and Cock fighting.  They hunted using dogs and Hawking will hawks. Elizabethan team sports were popular during the region of Queen Elizabeth. The team sports were enjoyed by both the players and spectators. This Era was very dangerous and violent. Blood sports were enjoyed. There were even some card games played in teams such as ‘Ruff and Honors’! The contests were subject to heavy gaming and gambling. The Elizabeth hunting was designed for fit, young and very active men who worked in teams to hunt. The Tournaments included many team elements. They also had individual sports which were archery, billards, colf, fencing, hammer-throwing, horseshoes, quarter staff contests, tennis, and wrestling. Archery was really popular during this era and prizes could be won for the most skilled archers. Billiards is a forerunner to the Pool played today. Colf is like golf; the ball is consisted of a leather casing, usually made from a bull’s hide, soaked in alum and stuffed with softened goose feathers. Fencing was a sword fight. Hammer-throwing was a sport of skill, technique and strength. Horseshoes is throwing horseshoes at target.

Personal Connections

In A Raisin in the Sun the Younger family had to deal with racism. After Mama had got the Insurance money she went out and bought a house with some of the money. She bought the house in an all-white neighborhood.  The neighborhood was called Clybourne Park When the Younger family went to visit the house and they was outside in the backyard celebrating all the white people was mean mugging them. Then the Younger family looked at the white people and the white people just closed there widows.  They went back to their apartment and like the next day when Walter lee, Bennie, and Ruth was all there packing up there stuff somebody knocked on the door. Bennie opened up the door and it was a white man standing there. Bennie called Walter and he came over there to the man and asked him “what did he want” the man said, “Hey I’m Mr. Carl Linder from the Clybourne Park Association. The Younger family all looked at each other because they wandering what he doing at their house. Mr. Linder came to offer the Younger s a deal to reconsider moving into his (all white) neighborhood. They didn’t except the deal, they told him to get out of there house. This connects to the way the City Hall treated my Auntie. They would always write racists things on her papers, and they would make racists comments. She never did anything but the white people would always make up lies just to get here fired or in trouble. She got tired of it and just left and now she has a better job.
